White Water Walk, Niagara Falls, Ont.

Now this was a beautiful walk...I hate to sound like a broken record but again I was rushed through this . Before we went down there I asked the guy if it was safe to bring my camera..most of the day we had spent wet and I was using my Fuji for those things but I knew it was going to be beautiful down there so I wanted to bring my big guy. The guy said no one has ever gotten wet, well maybe their feet so it was safe.....I should of known better then to listen to him. Mick and I got nailed by a huge wave and were soaked...along with my camera :( But hey it was still cool. The rush of water was amazing and sooo alive.

Maid of the Mist, Niagara Falls, Ont.

This was a real cool boat ride. The boat goes all along the falls...we all got soaked. Carmen was pretty nervous but still it was a awesome ride :)

Marineland, Niagara Falls

Wayne's parent flew out from England to spend a month here in Canada so we decided to fly and meet them when they landed in Toronto and continue on to Niagara Falls. It was the first "real" holiday since moving back to Canada. We did spend most of the 4 days not speaking to each other, but that seems to be the normal thing around here lately :( Niagara was amazing tho. There was so much to do, I almost wish we could of spent a few more days there. Maid of the mist was really cool and so was the white water walk and beneath the falls. I loved the butterfly conservatory, I could of spend hours there, but like everywhere we went I felt a little rushed as I don't think everyone was feeling my excitement :( I held a beautiful boa constrictor and even a little alligator, he was cool and so mellow. But Marineland was my favorite. I got to feed, pet and even kiss a beautiful Beluga named Phoenix. That was magical. I was so excited, the people we teasing me lol The trainer said she had never seen him act the way he did, he was singing to me, doing a little dance and kept jumping right up in my face..it was the best time I have had in years. Looking into his eyes gave me goosebumps, it felt like he could see right into my soul. *sigh* I want to go back. Marineland was awesome, yes it did bother me at times to see these wonderful creatures in tanks, but it's the same feeling I get when I go to the zoo. I love and hate it at the same time. I did get to feed some beautiful deer and even fed some bears stale corn pops lol And of course I took a kabillion pictures lol
